Honouring more than 700 years of professional experience
The anniversary celebrants and new retirees of the Roth companies, who were honoured for their many years of service in a ceremony at the company headquarters in Buchenau, have a total of 721 years of service.
"Today, the focus is on our colleagues who don't normally get much attention in everyday working life," said Christin Roth-Jäger, CEO of Roth Industries, the parent company of all Roth companies. A work anniversary or retirement marks an important point in life: "A milestone that gives us reason to pause, look back and appreciate what you have achieved for the Roth companies over the past years and decades."
Twelve employees were honoured for 40 and 25 years of service at Roth in a festive setting. In total, the employees celebrating their anniversaries have 346 years of service. The twelve employees who retired or will retire in 2025 have a total of 375 years of service.
"These are impressive figures that stand for loyalty, commitment and dedication," said HR manager Michael Donges, who presented the awards. "Together, you have 721 years of professional experience and are therefore an essential part of the success story that we are privileged to write together." Ralf Freund expressed his congratulations on behalf of all works council members at Roth companies: "Employees are the most important asset in a company."
Earlier, Mayor Marco Schmidtke (Dautphetal) had emphasised the company's strong ties to the region in his welcoming speech. Schmidtke also presented the two jubilarians, who were celebrating 40 years of service at Roth Werken in Dautphetal, with a certificate from the Prime Minister of Hesse to the municipality of Dautphetal.
The company invited employees from the Buchenau, Wolfgruben, Eckelshausen, Niedereisenhausen and Datteln sites to its headquarters in Dautphetal-Buchenau for the central celebration.
Carmen Delgado from the "Roth Band" provided the appropriate musical accompaniment. The younger generation also played an active role in the celebrations: trainees from the Roth companies joined forces with the Roth canteen team to serve champagne, coffee and the evening meal.
