Sustainable and cross-generational impact
Taking responsibility: Not only for the company and its more than 1,400 employees worldwide, but also for regions and people. This is one of the central motives behind the establishment of the "Manfred Roth Foundation", whose foundation agreement has now been signed.
"We want to have a sustainable and cross-generational impact," explained entrepreneur Manfred Roth at the presentation of the foundation agreement. Enabling participation, focussing on social issues and helping those in particular need are at the heart of the Roth Group: Not only in the regions where Roth Industries companies are located, but also beyond. For example, the company is involved in cultural life, in church communities, sports clubs and universities, for the Lebenshilfewerk or in day-care centres.
In order to create a lasting foundation for this commitment, the 85-year-old and his family have decided to set up a foundation - the "Manfred Roth Foundation". It is intended to pursue charitable, benevolent and ecclesiastical purposes. The aspects of education, support and promotion play a central role in the twelve points of the agreement, which list the purposes for which the foundation's funds are to be used in particular.
In addition to Manfred Roth and his wife Heike, the foundation's board includes their three children Claus-Hinrich Roth, Christin Roth-Jäger and Dr Anne-Kathrin Roth. "We are very pleased about this step and the opportunities offered by setting up the foundation," emphasised Manfred Roth.
