"37 reasons to celebrate"
The jubilarians and new retirees of the Roth companies, who were honoured for their many years of commitment at a ceremony at the company headquarters in Buchenau, have a total of 1,087 years of service.
Today, the focus is on colleagues who are not normally given a big stage in everyday working life," said Christin Roth-Jäger, CEO of Roth Industries, the parent company of all Roth companies. A work anniversary or retirement marks an important point in life: "A milestone that gives us an opportunity to pause, look back and recognise what you have achieved for the Roth companies over the past years and decades."
19 employees celebrating 50, 40 and 25 years at Roth were honoured in a festive setting. In total, the employees celebrating their anniversaries have been with the company for 575 years. The 18 employees who have retired or will retire in 2024 have a total of 512 years of service.
"Impressive figures that stand for loyalty, solidarity and commitment," said Deputy Head of HR Jessica Arnold, who presented the awards. "Together, you have almost 1,100 years of professional experience and are therefore an essential part of the success story that we can write together." Ralf Freund expressed his congratulations on behalf of all the works councils of the Roth companies: "The employees are the most important thing in a company."
Previously, the mayors Jochen Achenbach (Biedenkopf) and Marco Schmidtke (Dautphetal) had presented the certificate of the state of Hesse to the respective jubilarian from their municipalities on the occasion of 40 years of service.
The company invited employees from the Buchenau, Wolfgruben, Eckelshausen, Niedereisenhausen, Burgwald, Datteln and Bischofswerda sites to its headquarters in Dautphetal-Buchenau for the central ceremony.
Carmen Delgado and Michael Pohl from the "Roth Band" provided the perfect musical backdrop. The next generation also got involved in the ceremony: trainees from Roth companies joined the Roth canteen team to serve the champagne reception, coffee and the final dinner.
