System supplier Roth Plastic Technology successfully completes IATF recertification

Services from a single source are also convincing on the market

Challenge mastered: The injection moulding experts at Roth Plastic Technology from Dautphetal in central Hesse have successfully passed the recertification audit in accordance with IATF 16949 (International Automotive Task Force). This is the fifth time that the manufacturer of plastic products has started a three-year certification cycle for the high quality and system requirements as a supplier to the automotive industry.

"We are delighted to have once again met the high requirements of the IATF. The successful re-certification underlines our commitment and the consistent implementation of our quality guidelines in all areas of the company," said Sebastian Herrmann, General Manager at Roth Plastic Technology.

Even in these challenging times, the goal remains to be a recognised and proven partner as a supplier to the automotive industry, emphasised the general manager of the Central Hessian company, which is part of the Roth Industries Group.

Full-service supplier with a flexible approach

IATF certification is considered a must for suppliers to the automotive sector worldwide. Roth Plastic Technology is currently bucking the industry trend and recording growth in the automotive sector: "This is also due to the fact that we can supply holistic system solutions from a single source and have established ourselves as a full-service supplier," says Sebastian Herrmann, "it has proven to be a particular strength that we can flexibly take over production scopes, including sampling processes, with a short deadline before the start of series production or even during it." Several successfully completed customer audits have confirmed this.

Sustainability also takes centre stage at FAKUMA

The aspect of sustainability in particular is increasingly becoming a decisive factor: "We very much welcome the fact that the automotive industry's requirements for sustainable production processes at suppliers are constantly increasing," emphasises Sebastian Herrmann, "because responsible action and environmental protection have long been anchored in the company's principles."

For example, Roth Plastic Technology has been producing CO2-neutrally since 2017 and has launched a whole bundle of measures with the Roth climate protection cycle.

These will also take centre stage at the Central Hessian company's trade fair appearance at FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen at the end of October. Roth Plastic Technology will be co-exhibiting at the stand of its long-standing partner, ONI Wärmetrafo GmbH, in Hall A5, Stand A5-5103.
