Ten years of success in China - Roth Hydraulics celebrates anniversary in the Far East

Ten years of Roth Hydraulics China: In addition to the celebrations, Roth Hydraulics Sales Manager Monika Schwab (from right), Managing Director Frank Fuchs, Dr Anne-Kathrin Roth, Christin Roth-Jäger and Chinese Managing Director Jian Wan took the opportunity to visit the leading international trade fair PTC Asia in Shanghai.

Quality and intercultural understanding as success factors

From the hinterland to Taicang: A piece of the German-Chinese success story began ten years ago when Roth Hydraulics from Eckelshausen founded its subsidiary in Jiangsu Province. The milestone anniversary has now been celebrated locally.

Christin Roth-Jäger and Dr Anne-Kathrin Roth, Managing Partners of the Roth Industries Group, as well as Roth Hydraulics Managing Director Frank Fuchs and Sales Manager Monika Schwab also travelled to Taicang  for the joint ceremony with all employees of Roth Hydraulics China. 

In April 2014, a newly formed local team commenced business operations. Since then, "RHC" has enjoyed an impressive and well-founded growth curve, said Frank Fuchs: "We are the first company in the Roth Group to be represented in China with our own subsidiary," said the Managing Director of the hydraulics specialist, who cited intercultural understanding and mutual learning as particularly important factors: "We have worked together intensively and dealt with our respective focal points, interests and strengths," said Frank Fuchs, "this cooperation was and is the key to our success - in addition to the quality of our products, which is recognised worldwide." Not least since the acquisition of SFP Hydraulics in Houston, USA, Roth Hydraulics has been a globally recognised partner for customers around the world

Special thanks went to the employees of Roth Hydraulics China and the local Managing Director: "Jian Wan has been leading the company for ten years with tireless commitment and optimism, together and in coordination with Frank Fuchs," explained Dr Anne-Kathrin Roth, "we are very proud to be represented by such a successful Roth branch in Taicang." The two companies still have a lot planned together: "We are convinced that we will successfully master the current and future challenges together," emphasised Christin Roth-Jäger, CEO of Roth Industries.

The delegation from Germany also took the opportunity to visit the leading international trade fair PTC Asia and a number of well-known customers.
