Training Information Day at Roth - for school students, parents and teachers on 19 May 2017 at Roth Industries in Buchenau

The family-owned company, Roth Industries, has held its third “Training Information Day” and opened its doors to offer an insight into possible future careers. From 3pm to 8pm on 19 May 2017 at the Roth atrium in Dautphetal-Buchenau, interested school students, parents and teachers were able to learn all about Roth’s comprehensive training concept, various occupations involving training and study programmes.

The event was especially focused on students from classes eight to twelve who are looking out for the right career choices and apprenticeship vacancies for when they leave school. Managers from the Human Resources department, instructors and apprentices were on site to advise on choosing the right career, answer any questions about education, training and working life and to give valuable tips on job applications. Visitors were able to go on a tour of the company. Michael Donges, Head of HR at Roth, gave a presentation about the training concept and the family-owned company. He emphasised that, “The Training Information Day offers tremendous scope for one-to-one discussions. We are also offering to check application forms and giving pupils tips on how to put together a winning application.” Roth offers training for recognised qualifications in eight different commercial, technical or industrial professions. As Michael Donges says on the topic, “At Roth, training opens up great opportunities for a successful future career. Achieving recognised qualifications acts as a basis for further interesting career development. We rely on a robust and modern training concept that is continually being developed under the guidance of our experienced training supervisors.” Every year, Roth offers approximately 25 training positions at Roth Composite Machinery in Steffenberg-Niedereisenhausen, Burgwald and Dautphetal-Daupthe, as well as at Roth Hydraulics in Biedenkopf-Eckelshausen, Roth Plastic Technology in Dauphetal-Wolfgruben and Roth Werke in Dautphetal-Buchenau.
Roth’s “Training Information Day” was very well attended last year – we played host to about 200 guests, who found out about their professional options at our company.

Further information about the Training Information Day is available in the Careers section at as well as on the “Roth Werke GmbH – Ausbildung, Karriere und Unternehmen” (Roth Werke GmbH – training, careers and the company) Facebook page.
