Ideal combination of theory and practice
The industrial apprentices receive intensive theoretical and practical teaching by dedicated trainers at Roth Industries’ central training workshop. The skills they learn equip them for the challenges of day-to-day working life at an industrial company. The management apprentices follow an in-house training plan in the business management departments, where the emphasis is on practical knowledge. Their training is rounded off by in-house teaching covering the subjects taught at vocational college and preparing them for intermediate and final exams. If they do well, Roth offers the apprentices the option of completing part of their training at a Roth company abroad. Michael Donges is convinced: "The interplay of company and vocational school instruction, training in the training workshop, practice in departments and Roth companies as well as the use of modern media and training methods is a successful training concept. It enables a high level of qualification for today's job requirements and beyond".High training quota
With a training quota of around ten percent, Roth offers an above-average number of training places with many further training opportunities. At the time Roth keeps 90 percent of the apprentices after the completion of their training. The family business offers apprenticeships at Roth Werke in Dautphetal-Buchenau, Roth Composite Machinery in Steffenberg-Niedereisenhausen, Burgwald and Dautphetal-Dautphe as well as at Roth Hydraulics in Biedenkopf-Eckelshausen and Roth Plastic Technology in Daupthetal-Wolfgruben.
