Roth Plastic Technology - Manager Herbert Blodig retires

08/08/2018

Roth Plastic Technology bade farewell to its long-standing Plant Manager and member of the Managing Board Herbert Blodig when he began his retirement in late July 2018. He had worked for the Roth family company for 32 years.

At a leaving party, CEO of Roth Industries Matthias Donges gave a speech in honour of the manager, saying: “We would like to thank Herbert Blodig for his decades of dedication to our plastics division. His work has made a significant contribution to the success of our company – Roth Plastic Technology has gone from strength to strength for many years.” Back in the 1980s, Herbert Blodig established Roth’s expertise in injection moulding and has headed up the production plant in Wolfgruben since 2003. He was appointed to the Managing Board as an authorised signatory in 2004.

New Roth management team
Following the manager’s departure, Roth has restructured the management team. Long-standing member Sebastian Herrmann has now been appointed spokesperson of the Managing Board. He is in charge of the injection moulding business unit.
Jörg Csellner and Christian Semus have joined the extended Managing Board as new members – both have worked at Roth for many years. Csellner heads up the containers and blow moulding business unit, while Semus has been appointed Plant Manager. Dennis Bald, who has held responsibility for controlling and commercial management for a long time now, is also a member of the extended Managing Board. Matthias Donges emphasised: “We firmly believe that, with our restructured Roth Plastic Technology management team, we are in an excellent position and can meet our customers’ requirements as effectively as possible.”
